I’m a data strategist and geospatial researcher with a passion for helping people make better decisions through maps, data, and storytelling.
For the past four years, I’ve worked at the intersection of urban research, spatial analysis, and public sector planning—most recently as a Senior GIS Data Strategist at Chicago Public Schools.
I specialize in turning messy, complex data into clear insights, using tools like mapping, statistics, and thoughtful design to bring research to life.
Whether I’m creating hexagon grids to harmonize urban data or helping organizations visualize enrollment trends across a city, I care deeply about clarity, context, and impact.
I hold a PhD in Sociology from the University of Chicago, where I focused on spatial data, cities, and how we understand social change.
Here you’ll find some of my work, including research papers, dissertation maps, and historical visualizations of Chicago.
